Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Hangul Campus handles information collected through its website, Android app, student forms and direct student communications.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide for registration and support, such as name, email, mobile/WhatsApp number, city, course, batch and selected payment plan. We keep Student IDs, Enrollment IDs, enrollment decisions, payment and receipt references, uploaded bank slips, book orders and certificate records. Billing and delivery addresses are collected where needed. Refund requests may include relevant supporting evidence you choose to supply.

Why we use it

We use this information to operate student accounts, manage enrollments and classes, verify and reconcile payments, issue receipts, send service reminders, fulfill book/certificate delivery, answer requests, investigate suspected misuse and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell student personal information.

Card payments

When card checkout is enabled, PayHere processes card details on its hosted checkout. Hangul Campus does not collect or store full card numbers, CVVs or bank verification codes. We keep the transaction references, amount, currency and payment status needed for reconciliation. PayHere and participating banks handle payment information under their own policies. Card checkout remains unavailable until setup and approval are complete.

Service providers and necessary sharing

Student records and private uploaded documents are stored using Cloudflare D1 and R2. Google Firebase handles student sign-in, password resets and Android push notifications. Resend delivers student service emails. Our website uses Netlify. Encrypted recovery copies are kept separately from the primary database. PayHere and participating banks process card payments when enabled. Necessary recipient and delivery details may be shared with book suppliers and couriers. Messages use email services and, where applicable, WhatsApp. These providers may process information outside Sri Lanka. We may also disclose information when required by a valid legal request.

Account security and storage

Google Firebase manages password authentication; Hangul Campus does not store readable student passwords. Login sessions and preferences may use browser or device storage; the optional remembered login should be used only on your own device. Access to administrative records is restricted. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or payment information has been misused.

Certificate verification

With the student’s consent, anyone with an issued certificate verification link or ID can view the certificate holder's name, course and certificate validity information. This is necessary to verify an issued certificate. Treat your certificate link and QR code as information intended to be shared with people who need to verify it.

Retention and your requests

We retain information as needed to provide the course, complete delivery, handle support or payment disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. Some payment, certificate or legal records may need to be retained; we will explain any applicable restriction. Provide only relevant evidence for refund requests and avoid sending unrelated medical records.

Reminders and updates

Contact us if you leave or pause a class, change your details or want class/payment reminders stopped. Recurring reminders stop when your enrollment is withdrawn, paused or completed, or your batch ends. Full-package payment reminders stop after the complete package amount is verified; monthly-plan reminders continue for unpaid months while enrollment remains active. Necessary transaction messages and student-requested password resets may still be sent. Material policy updates will be published here with an updated date.
