Refund & cancellation policy

Who can request a course-withdrawal refund?
Voluntary course-withdrawal refund requests are available only to students on the full upfront payment plan, after the full course fee has been paid in one payment and approved by Hangul Campus. Monthly tuition and full-package payments made in three installments are not eligible under this discretionary policy. This eligibility rule does not change the corrections, cancellation remedies or applicable consumer rights described below.
Requests are reviewed individually
Hangul Campus considers refund requests where a student has a valid reason supported by information that can reasonably be verified. A request does not automatically guarantee a full or partial refund. We assess the circumstances, the services already supplied and any applicable consumer rights, and explain our decision in writing.
EPS-TOPIK students
We may consider documented circumstances that prevent a student from continuing the course or participating in the intended employment pathway, including a relevant medical diagnosis. Colour blindness is an example of a reason that may be reviewed; it is not an automatic refund entitlement or a statement that a student is ineligible for an examination or employment. Relevant eligibility decisions are made by the responsible official authorities.
TOPIK and other courses
Where a course is open for enrollment, documented circumstances such as a visa rejection may be considered if they materially affect the purpose of enrollment. A visa rejection alone does not automatically guarantee a refund. Each request is reviewed on its facts.
How to request a refund
If you are eligible, open Refund Policy → Refund request, log in and select the approved full upfront course payment. Provide your reason and relevant supporting information. You can also contact us with your name, Student ID or Enrollment ID, payment reference and payment date. Do not send card numbers, CVVs, passwords or bank verification codes. For medical evidence, share only what is necessary to explain the request and hide unrelated medical details. We will tell you if further relevant evidence is needed.
Decision and refund amount
We aim to give a written decision within seven working days after receiving the information needed to assess the request. If a delay is necessary, we will explain it. The approved amount may take account of classes attended, course access or services already provided, and books or delivery already supplied. Any proposed deductions will be explained before the refund is confirmed; they will not override applicable consumer rights.
Payment of an approved refund
Our written approval will state the refund amount, any deductions and the planned initiation date. Card refunds are normally returned through the original payment method using the payment provider's refund process. Bank-transfer refunds will be arranged with the verified original payer. The bank or payment provider may need additional time to post the credit. Contact us if an approved refund has not arrived by the advised date.
Books, delivery problems and duplicate payments
If books arrive damaged, are incorrect or do not arrive as advised, contact us promptly with the order reference and relevant photographs or delivery information. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate correction, replacement or refund. Contact us before sending any book back so that we can give return instructions. Verified duplicate or excess payments will be reconciled and the appropriate adjustment or refund explained.
If Hangul Campus cancels
If we cancel a course and cannot provide the purchased services, we will offer a refund for the undelivered portion, or a transfer that you agree to. We will explain the calculation. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that apply under Sri Lankan law.
